Here are a few opportunities in the journalism world:

  • Multimedia Journalism Internship
  • Huffington Post Investigative Fun

The newly-formed Huffington Post Investigative Fund is a nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization focused on creating impact-oriented investigative journalism. In the open source spirit of the Web, all content the Fund produces will be free for anyone to publish, via creative commons. A primary outlet for the Fund will be the Huffington Post.

Our multimedia team is seeking a fall intern to help produce multimedia investigative journalism pieces on national issues. An ideal candidate will have knowledge of the political blogosphere, a deep interest in investigative journalism, and a willingness to take on big stories.

Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and other audiovisual software is a plus but not required. This is ideal for an ambitious young journalist looking to learn about new forms of multimedia reporting.

This is an unpaid internship. Credit can be offered. Interested candidates can email their cover letters and resumes to lsebert@huffpostfund.org. Please put “internship” in the subject line.
